Sooo ... when Mike went home, it was time for us to plan on. I personally felt that I was not quite finished with the Arizona mountains. Had hintat that I wanted to go back all week and now I decided 100% and looking for a ride share on couch surfing. I also got hold of a guy on craigslist online that would from san diego to denver. Messa o see if he drove past arizona. Was super stoked. Began seriously look forward to a few days of solo adventures out on the mountain peaks. Could see myself walking drfostersandsmith a few hours every day, stay somewhere under a tree, hang food up high in the tree thing. Sitting in the sun on a rock o read my book. Crash Pad in sleeping bags (fully clothed because of the cold though) for my newly purchased mosquito nets. Gu huh founded. On Saturday, I took into hostel in downtown SD and Danni took the tram towards the border with Mexico. The hostel I stayed at in two days was the best hostel drfostersandsmith I've ever seen in the United drfostersandsmith states. Really sjysst. Large kitchen with dining for all above, lounge with wifi. Fresh showers and toilets and a staff member who type fell in love with me. hahaha. Met a nice Canadian girl there (could iförsej not escape when she lived in the same room + four brats from Sweden. Sigh ... she traveled with them. First time on trip ever. While she kind hated them o the va brat silence against her (nasty jokes all the time) but she was too uncertain to give a shit about them o draw on their trip.), which I commanded me on my journey, but she dared not keep up.
On Sunday, my ride to town o picked me up at Ocean Beach. We pulled up to a place o munching o talk o then he had nothing o do so we drove around town until the clock was kind 10pm. He showed where in town he lived eight years ago. He had been a military policeman for 10 years and had just finished two weeks earlier. Now he had nothing to do förrns fall of 2011 as he road tripped through the U.S. o greeted all his friends. He had driven drfostersandsmith down from Seattle, I think it was, and now he was going to Denver, then cross country down to Florida etc etc. He would start studying veterinary next year.
He picked me up outside the hostel at 10 stab and so began our long journey towards the east. It turned out that the easiest way for him would be to go past Flagstaff. So my plan is to show up in a small village somewhere, pull to the nearest kiosk and buy something edible and then pallra drfostersandsmith into the nearest forest was thwarted. drfostersandsmith We drove along a winding road over the mountains, passing Palm Springs, a nice town right in the heat with palm trees, etc., where it apparently lives many older people who pallets cold in northern cities anymore. We stayed in one place to look for rattlesnakes. My hack (think his name was Dan, but do not remember the brand, for some reason thought yes his name was Ray until he dropped me off at night, haha). Anyways, he told me that he, when he was a kid, trying to catch rattlesnakes out along the way. He certainly had captured two when he was 10 bass or something, but his mother had forbidden him to keep them. We found, drfostersandsmith unfortunately, no snakes (would Blitt cool pictures). drfostersandsmith
On the way to Flagstaff pondered a little in front and back before I decided to contact our old couch host Dan again. Had been looking couch sites in several small towns in northern Arizona, but received no response. Did that Dan was very flexible by itself, but I was still pretty excited to just hajka. But then I texted Dan, which was lucky, because when we arrived at the area, took a strong rainstorm, which means I would have been quite wet, Frösen and miserable drfostersandsmith if I run with my previous plan. Had not even tents or rain, but the weather had been super najs just a few days earlier.
Cadence is a genuinely drfostersandsmith tough girl (without any self-criticism in terms of dressing, guh so she looked sometimes haha, talk about safe conduct back), who decided to ride through several states in the U.S. alone with its cool copper-colored touring bike. She had cycled over mountains, hitchhiking with people when the weather drfostersandsmith was bad, weird lived in small burrows in Nevada (State all shady people apparently move to when they will erase his past and start anew).
She had been at Buring Man certainly is the fascination drfostersandsmith of anything, and the same people who started couchsurfing organizes this annual festival, which is about creativity and "share" mentality, one can not buy anything inside the festival area, giving o sheep. Maybe worth a visit sometime.
We had Askul together, drfostersandsmith even when we helped Dan find clothes for her mother's wedding. He was quite closed and stressed drfostersandsmith out this time, because he was going away for 2 weeks and had not packed or anything or decided to wear. Typical guy. After many visits to second hand shops (there drfostersandsmith are several drfostersandsmith pieces in Flagstaff), he concluded that he would have his suit that he already had at home. haha ...
On the day we walked around in Flagstaff, visited second-hand utesportbutiken available in town and bought respective ylletr
