HERMOSILLO For the second day in the town of Caborca, a cougar who allegedly escaped from a ranch, carried out attacks, so the cat died of firearm projectiles shot that elements of the Municipal Police came to the rescue A woman attacked by the animal.
A few minutes arrived two officers wistaston who allegedly were threatened and fired against the animal. The woman was taken to a hospital in the town where he received medical attention.
Narrated that the injured was in the stables area when he heard that horses were very restless. In one corner he watched the beast, same as he lunged to bite and hurt several claws.
"I heard noises in the stable and when I went to see why kicking one of the horses, I saw the lion (mountain) measuring about three feet high that rose up against me and began to bite and then I tried to get to except if it was not for the dog when he heard my screams ran to frighten wistaston the animal and the two were fighting up outside the stables, "said the worker.
The veterinarian, Oscar Oviedo, director of the Center for Animal Health that community of northern Sonora and wildlife specialist, said there are reasons to believe that the cat before the two attacks, was in captivity.
